Adoption Crossroads 15th Annual Outing

All members and their friends and relatives are invited to our 15th Annual Outing on Saturday September 1, 2001 from Noon to 10pm in Congers, NY (1/2 hour north of the George Washington Bridge, and 5 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge)  We will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, soda and chips.  Pot Luck Dishes are welcome.  This lakefront property is also the location of our healing weekends.  Lots of lawn, lakeside dock, swans and geese and a screened in porch.  A tranquil setting for a great day.  Enjoy a day away from the city and enjoy, Rain or Shine!  Please feel welcome to share this day with us..

Feeling the swirling mass of confusion
Created in the slurry of primal ooze
I came to be

From this dark tomb I grew
I knew nothing but darkness
From a mass of cells I emerged
Sharing life giving blood with her
She did not want me in her
Feeling her sadness, anger, pain
I became the trespasser in my tomb

She signed me away before I was born
Unwanted unloved became my home

The day of eviction came
They pulled me out screaming and crying
You must leave

Alone afraid unloved without a home I entered this world

Impostor amid the iron fences lies here 
Among these markers of ties 

This sacred ground he steals 
How dare he lie here with our clan 

His foreign bones give us disgrace 
A brother he is not
